In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Municipality of Ormstown has implemented several measures intended to raise awareness and protect the community. Citizen participation is also essential in the fight against Covid19. Find all the necessary information here.

Protocol for public health measures

The Municipality of Ormstown mandated that, as of July 10, 2020, all residents and visitors wear masks which was a week before the rest of Québec. We would like to thank all our citizens for being so respectful of the rules such as physical distancing, washing hands and wearing masks.

Library

The library is open and the book shelves are now accessible to citizens. Contactless loan is also available.

For details regarding sanitary measures, please visit the Library Facebook page.

Retrieval of documents

  • Once your reservations are received we will contact you by phone and you will be able to retrieve your books at the counter. The books will be in a bag with your name.
  • For your safety, the books you reserve will have gone through quarantine before your pick-up.
  • Inter library loans will be maintained.

Health measures to respect

  • One person allowed inside at a time.
  • Please remember wearing a mask is mandatory as well as the two metres distancing.
