The municipal council holds regular meeting sessions the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.. The meetings are now presented live on Youtube.
A question period is held at the beginning of each regular meeting for citizens who wish to present questions to the council.
The Municipality of Ormstown invites citizens to submit their questions to the Municipal Council by e-mail or mail before noon the day of the meeting. Questions must include the following information: • Name • Address • Phone number If they are admissible, questions will be read and answered by the Mayor during the question period allocated to citizens, which follows the opening of the meeting.
In accordance with article 148 of the Municipal Code of Québec (or article 319 of the Law Regarding Cities and Towns [la Loi sur les cités et villes]), at the beginning of each year the council must set the calendar dates of regular meetings for the current year as well as the day and hour of each meeting.
